Join us for our FREE lunchtime briefing focussing on the key elements of WHQS23, exploring the new standards and expectations, including the requirement to hear the tenant voice in its delivery.  

The Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) 2023 will drive-up the Standard of existing social housing by setting this demanding Standard which all social landlords in Wales are legally obliged to meet. The standards are extensive and cover a range of aspects such as decarbonisation and water efficiency to flooring, ventilation and digital connectivity. 

• Expert Insight: TPAS Cymru is the Welsh Government (WG) appointed organisation for tenant engagement in Wales, and we supported WG with the development of the new standard. We will share our expert insight and knowledge.
• Key Elements: Focus on the key elements of WHQS23, exploring new standards and expectations, including the tenant voice in its delivery.
• Practical Guidance: Learn what is expected when delivering the standard and working in tenants’ homes and neighbourhoods.

• In addition to being a key partner of the Welsh Government, we are a membership organisation. Our extensive membership includes all social landlords In Wales; Housing Association and Local Authorities as members, plus commercial members and supporters.
• We regularly organise or join roundtable discussions, facilitate sessions and provide direct feedback and thought leadership to Welsh Government, landlords and sector organisations.   
• We’re a not-for-profit organisation and have been representing our members across Wales since 1988.
