A visit to Tŷ Gwyrddfai, Penygroes

Study visits are a great way for tenants and housing staff to learn and get inspired.
For our first visit, TPAS Cymru is heading to the amazing Tŷ Gwyrddfai Decarbonisation Hub in Penygroes.
This exciting new centre focuses on green skills and decarbonisation. It’s run by Adra with support from Bangor University and Grŵp Llandrillo Menai.
In collaboration with Adra, we are offering a guided tour of the facility with senior staff, followed by an engaging roundtable discussion. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore sustainable housing practices and network with others passionate about a better future for Wales.
Itinerary

10:30 – 12:00: Guided tour (two groups – one in English, one in Welsh)

12:00 – 12:30: Buffet lunch (included with your ticket)

12:30 – 13:45: Roundtable discussion (facilitated, in the conference suite)

14:00: Transport back
Language Preference: Please indicate your preferred language (Welsh or English) when booking, so we can assign you to the appropriate tour group.
Getting There: We are exploring the option of a minibus from Bangor train station to the site and back. If this would be helpful for you, please let us know early so we can confirm arrangements and share the cost per person.
Accessibility: The site is fully wheelchair accessible.

We aim to make sure that the courses and events run as planned. However, there may be times when, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel the course or event. Should this be the case we will give you as much notice as possible. If you have already paid for the cancelled course or event we will transfer your booking to a rescheduled date or give you a full refund if this option is not possible. We will not refund any costs you may incur as a result of the cancellation.
