‘The Right Stuff’ re-visited

Now is a good time to re-visit the ‘Right Stuff’ report’s findings and re-look and assess your organisation’s approach to tenant involvement. Is your organisation getting ‘The Right Stuff’ right?

The Regulatory Board for Wales (RBW) report ‘The Right Stuff - Hearing the Tenants Voice’ identifies key themes for social landlords to review to ensure their approach to tenant involvement is robust and delivering positive outcomes. The opportunities identified in the report will also form part of the Regulatory assessment and the report is useful for tenants and service users in holding their landlord to account.

During this informal half-day workshop event we’ll explore the main themes of the report to help you identify areas your organisation needs to focus on and opportunities for your organisation including:  

• Purpose & Outcomes of involvement – so what!? demonstrating the difference involvement is making?
• Organisational Culture – creating a positive culture, led from the top, built on trust and openness and ensuring the culture is aligned to a tenant involvement approach
• Listening and acting – how to do it and demonstrate you’re doing it?!
• Value for Money – does your involvement approach deliver value for money and how do you know this?

This event is suitable for staff and tenants and is free for TPAS Cymru members.
