Are you interested in influencing the way Housing Associations in Wales are regulated or just want to find out more?
The purpose of regulation is to ensure that Housing Associations provide good quality homes and high quality and improving services to tenants and others who use their services. How regulation works is set in The Regulatory Framework.
The Welsh Government is now seeking the views of tenants and other stakeholders about The Regulatory Framework for Housing Associations Registered in Wales, which has now been operating for almost 4 years.
As part of the Welsh Government’s review of The Regulatory Framework, TPAS Cymru is supporting a consultation workshop event for tenants to look at the review findings so far and to explore views and issues in more detail.
The online event will be hosted by TPAS Cymru and facilitated by an organisation called Campbell Tickell who are working in partnership with the Welsh Government.
The key themes of the review are detailed below but attendees do not need to be experts in the workings of the Regulation Framework!
• The Judgement Dimensions (assessment statuses based on regulation findings)
• Scope and clarity of the performance standards (Housing Associations are expected to demonstrate they are meeting these standards)
• Expectations about equality, diversity and inclusion
