Thursday 7th March 2024 – 11.00am – 12.00 noon
New statutory guidance from Welsh Government sets clear principles for Housing Associations seeking mergers, group structures and partnerships. So, what is included? and what does it mean for Tenants?
TPAS Cymru felt a roundtable discussion was needed for tenants and interested staff to discuss the new guidance and what is means in practice.
Join us for this informal session where we will look at the latest guidance and the Regulatory Principles Housing Associations are expected to observe when assessing group structures and mergers.
Whilst the revamp is in light of recent news of 8 HA looking to merge in Wales, it also has some very interesting guidance for any HA that is setting up group structures/subsidiaries and formal partnerships.
Who’s the session for?
This session is primarily aimed at tenants (as HA staff are likely to be aware) but its open and free for both tenants and housing association staff and board members who wish to get up to speed and discuss interpretation of the guidelines.
Cost – FREE for TPAS Cymru members
