We’re excited to announce that our popular Homes and Communities - North Wales half-day conference will be held again this year at Venue Cymru on Wednesday 12th March.
This free of charge informal and informative event is for staff and tenants and is exclusively for our TPAS Cymru members. It will be another fantastic opportunity to hear from a range of thought provoking and informative speakers about what’s happening in housing and, the communities of north Wales. It will also give you an opportunity to network with other attendees from social landlords across the region.

Learn about Tŷ Gwyrddfai, a ground-breaking decarbonisation hub in north Wales which has brought together the housing sector, education and training providers, communities and business. Find out how the project is leading to a more qualified and skilled workforce which will help in making homes more energy efficient, reducing carbon emissions and the impact of increasing energy costs and improving the quality of life for tenants.
The Community Cohesion Project – north Wales
Emily Reddy and Catrin Jones
Hear about the impactful work of the Community Cohesion Project in north Wales. Find out how the project is supporting communities across the region to be more inclusive and cohesive and the difference that is making to all. Emily and Catrin will share some examples of their work and how they benefit the community.
Project Dewi - supporting engagement in Public Service Boards
Mike Corcoran and Dr. Rebecca Colley-Jones
Hear from Mike and Rebecca at Project Dewi who will give the context and an overview of this 5-year programme of work with Public Services Boards (PSBs) in north Wales. Mike and Rebecca will present on Co-production and involvement good practice and share some of the outcomes from the project to date and reflect on lessons learnt.
Groundwork North Wales – working alongside communities to support them
Louise Stokes
Groundwork works with, and supports communities across north Wales creating positive impacts for people, places and the planet. Louise Stokes will talk about the various inspiring projects Groundwork run, the difference they’ve made and, how you and your community could get involved.
Please note: Numbers for this conference will be limited so, to ensure there are places for all our members, we are initially, allowing 3 members of staff and 3 tenants from each Landlord member to book places. These places will be on a first come, first serve basis: if we have any spare spaces nearer the date of the event we will re-advertise them. Please email [email protected] to book your place and advise of any accessible or dietary needs.
Lunch will not be provided at this half day conference. Also, please ask for permission from your Landlord if you’re wanting to claim travel expenses to attend this event.
