How can we continue to create great communities during current challenging times?
3rd July 2024 – Leonardo Hotel, Cardiff city centre (*see special ‘distance discount’). 10.00am – 3.30pm. Refreshments and buffet lunch provided
Following last year’s successful one day conference, we’re pleased to announce the fantastic programme for this year’s Creating Great Communities event suitable for volunteers and staff.
What is it? This essential 1-day conference will look at best practice and approaches in ‘Creating Great Communities’, particularly during current challenging times. The packed schedule will include inspiring speakers and real practical case studies from a range of community projects and initiatives including: a group of tenants and residents who came together to make their community a better place to live; a ‘Bridging the Generations’ project which is helping to build stronger communities; how to develop a shared understanding and analysis of how economic systems work to build the power of communities and create economic change; and a panel of experts who will be giving their thoughts on how to build great communities during these challenging times.
Who should attend? This annual event is a must for social landlords, residents, third sector organisations, community volunteers, statutory agencies, charities, and voluntary groups, so be part of it and book your place now.
Why should I attend? This event will motivate, inspire, and inform all those who attend.
