TPAS Cymru welcomes new report highlighting the importance of tenant engagement and tackling the housing crisis
TPAS Cymru has welcomed the release of a new report that focuses on empowering tenants and addressing the housing crisis through stronger collaboration and meaningful action between landlords and tenants.
Elizabeth Taylor, Policy Lead at TPAS Cymru, said:
“We’re pleased to see the publication of this much-needed report. Its recommendations reflect both the urgency of the challenges we face and our commitment to empowering tenants, strengthening their voice, and ensuring we tackle the housing crisis effectively.
As a not-for-profit membership organisation, we’re dedicated to making sure tenants are at the heart of decision-making. This report highlights how essential it is for tenants, landlords, and policymakers to work together to create lasting, positive change.
We’re looking forward to continuing our work with tenants, members, and partners to build on the progress highlighted in this report and to promote best practices in tenant engagement and participation.”
TPAS Cymru remains committed to working with tenants, landlords and stakeholders across Wales to ensure that tenant voices are not just heard but lead to meaningful change in housing policy and practice.
