The good things of 2020
On December 15th 2020, we here at TPAS Cymru held our very first virtual awards event via Zoom.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we had to sadly cancel our annual Awards night, usually held in Cardiff, however we did not want the hard work of our members; landlords, tenants and communities to go unrecognised during this particularly difficult time. Therefore, we decided to make our awards digital and host TPAS Cymru’s first ever virtual awards ceremony!
For our event we created four Recognition Award categories:

We were overwhelmed with all the fantastic submissions we received and wanted to share some of the fantastic work with you all. We have put together the following downloadable report:
This gives more information on all 4 award categories, the fantastic nominees and the judge’s Top 3 in each category. We have also added their contact details if anyone would like more information on their projects.
We would like to thank Dot Davies who kindly helped us with hosting duties and also the Welsh Government for part funding the event. We are especially thankful to Pobl who very kindly gifted all nominees from the Communities Supporting Communities category £250 for their project or a chosen cause/charity. As well as this generous gift, they also sponsored the Individual award. Thank you Pobl! 😊
Finally, we would like to give a massive thank you to all those who were nominated in each and every category. 2020 was a tough year for all of us, however it’s stories and people like you that give us a reason to keep on smiling, even during the tough days.
