Our Fifth Annual Tenant Pulse on Affordable Warmth & Energy Efficiency is Now Live!
At TPAS Cymru, we believe that tenant voices must be at the heart of housing policy.
Our Fifth Annual Tenant Pulse Report on Affordable Warmth and Energy Efficiency captures the real experiences of tenants across Wales - from social housing to private renters - highlighting the challenges of heating affordability, energy efficiency, and the transition to Net Zero.
Tenant Pulse is the official Wales-wide panel for tenants giving their views on the things that matter right to them. It was created 6 years ago by TPAS Cymru (under a programme of work supported by Welsh Government). It’s run quarterly on topical issues to help shape housing policy in Wales. It covers tenants of both social housing (Housing Associations and Council housing) plus private renters and those in supported housing.
If you are a tenant, why not join our Tenant Pulse panel and have your say?
Key areas explored in this year’s survey:
-
Heating Affordability: Can tenants afford to heat their homes properly?
-
Energy Performance (EPC) Ratings: Do tenants understand how energy efficiency affects their housing?
-
Transition to Electric Heating: What are tenants' biggest concerns about moving away from gas?
-
Rent Vs Energy Efficiency: Should rent reflect a home’s energy performance?
With over 600 tenants responding, this survey gives insights into what tenants across Wales are experiencing.
