How TPAS Cymru can support you during the COVID-19 period

 

In response to the way our members are working during the COVID-19 outbreak we are adapting how we can best support you during this period.

 

We are fully committed to continuing to deliver a first-class service to our members, tenants and landlords alike. We will be sharing regular insights, best practice and crisis approaches as part of our role.  We are here for you. 

Here’s what you can do now:

• Join our new Facebook group, for landlord staff from across Wales to share information and support each other https://www.facebook.com/groups/208399190503293/?source_id=153666398141072

• Share with us how your Tenant/Community engagement team is adapting to the changing ways we're going to have to work in the coming weeks and months. For example, how you are communicating with tenants – particularly those digitally excluded and how you plan to maintain contact with involved tenants whilst face to face activities/groups are suspended. • Get in touch with us to talk about the various ways we can assist you remotely, such as desk top reviews of your engagement strategies, reviewing your publications etc.

• Take a look through our various online resources or catch up on our previous webinars – all free for members to watch.

• Give us a call for a chat; whether it is advice, support or just connecting with people like us who understand your challenges and how the Welsh housing sector is responding, we are here and ready to respond so please do get in touch.
   

Here’s what to look out for:

• New online regional Officer networks – a great opportunity to ‘meet’ up and share information and experiences.

• Wales wide survey of tenants, using our online survey community Tenant Pulse, to gauge the tenant perspective of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and to understand what support, going forward, tenants would like to see from landlords and the Welsh Government.
• New Facebook Group for those Tenants involved in scrutiny type activities – a chance to keep communications going and ideas shared.

• ‘Effective Communications with tenant during a crisis’ – a new fast paced workshop webinar.

• New webinar – ‘Update on the Affordable Housing Supply Review’, all the latest on where things are at with this important work.

• A new topical webinar programme focused on the latest housing news, policy developments, ideas and thinking.
